Victory Sports Medicine is a comprehensive center of excellence that provides nonsurgical treatment of sports-related injuries and conditions. We specialize in the nonsurgical care of injuries affecting your frame, including your bones, joints, ligaments and muscles, and of other issues affecting the way you move, whether in sports, at work, at play, or at home.
As Sports Medicine doctors, we have specialized training in the field of medicine that deals with sports and exercise. Most commonly, our primary focus is on the diagnosis, management, and prevention of injuries that occur during sports and other physical activity. However, we also have specialized training in the study and practice of other medical principles related to the science of sports, such as exercise science and physiology, sports nutrition, and managing illness in the setting of sports participation.
Keeping You Moving
The focus of our practice is “Keeping You Moving” whether you need to return to work or your sport, or to care for your home and family. Since 90% of sports related injuries are non-surgical, a sports medicine physician's expertise is often the best choice for non-operative care for athletic injury. We have extensive experience in working with athletes at all levels - from young T-ballers and gymnasts to weekend warriors, and from local road racers and community team members to elite/world class champions. However, “athlete” is not limited to someone who participates in an organized sport; rather, we work with anyone whose goal is to remain physically active and to keep moving.
At Victory Sports Medicine, we utilize the most up-to-date tools and state-of-the-art techniques to deliver the best possible care. These include but are not limited to:
- Ultrasound scanning to assess tissue injury and to guide injections
- Advanced injection options such as needle tenotomy and high-volume hydrodissection, etc.
- Non-surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome
- ImPACT™ testing for concussion assessment
